Rocky Mountain Journey Book 3 Sisters of the Rockies by Misty M. Beller

Book 3 is a continuation of the first two books of this series.  It is a very engaging story about 4 sisters who are trying to fulfill their father's dying wish to return a beaded heirloom to an Peigan Blackfoot woman who saved his life years ago.  Grant is trying to find a brother who he lost contact with when their parents passed.  The two together work to help one another reach their goals.  But there are many challenges ahead of them as they travel through rugged country.  I really enjoyed this series and do recommend them them.  It is a fast read because you will want to know what happens!

Mary's Calico Hope by Anne Blackburne

I loved this story of The Heart of the Amish Series!  It was a sweet story of Mary, who was in a serious and tragic accident causing her many surgeries, pain and the use of crutches.  She meets the Mennonite doctor and the story continues.  There are many ups and downs as Mary has pretty much resigned herself that she won't marry.  And being a baptized Amish, a relationship with someone not of her faith would cause her to be shunned.  Its a heartwarming story.  I felt it was a very good read.

Unforgiven by Shelley Shepard Gray

This was a really well written book.  The characters were believable and understandable.  You knew why they did what they thought they needed to do even though you wish things were different.  It is an emotional story and it really keeps you engaged and wondering what would I do in this situation.  Seth and Tabitha have had past experiences in their lives that have followed them through their days.  The story is one of trust, love, family, community and especially forgiveness which the title shows is not easily coming.  The Christian aspects of the book come through and I enjoy and appreciate that in my reading.

THe Hollister Brothers' Homecoming by Anna J. Stewart, Kayla Perrin, Melinda Curtis, Cari Lynn Webb

I hadn't read any of the previous Hollister Brothers books so I can say that despite that fact, it was easy to follow the story and there was enough of an introduction to their pasts that I could easily catch up, so to speak. I enjoy each of the four stories that are included in this anthology.  The stories of each of the brothers transitioned easily into the following stories of the book and so the storylines of each flowed well together.  It was very entertaining and a very enjoyable book.  I would love to go back and read about each of the brothers' pasts as I am sure these books would have been good reading as well!  It is a story of family and their love for one another as their widowed father, Clay marries the best friend of his late wife.

The Rancher's Reunion by Lisa Childs

This is the first book of this series that I have read.  I have unfortunately missed 6 books previously.  Despite that fact, I really enjoyed this clean and sweet romance.  It tells of secrets that are kept and that could cause difficult feelings should they be discovered by others. This definitely brings in the interest factor of the book which is an enjoyable book to read.  This is the story of Cash who returns home and Becca who were best friends in previous years. Becca holds a secret as well and worries that the truth will come out and things will never be the same.  Good story!

The Amish Book Cellar by Tracy Fredrychowski

I totally loved this book.  I love a good mystery and this book filled the bill!  There were no boring moments in this book, rather it was full of action and very engaging. Lydia is a young woman, who after leaving the Amish, returns to attend to her father's passing and funeral.  She takes over the care of his bookstore and finds that there is a secret.  This is a story of love, forgiveness and miracles.  It's a fast paced and wonderful read.  I recommend it!

The Song of Sourwood Mountain by Ann H. Gabhart

I loved this book from the very start.  When that happens I read fast, wanting to see how things develop in the book.  I loved the Christian aspects in the book which is very heart-warming to me.  I love this type of book, so much!  It kind of reminds me of my husband's grandmother whose husband settled in Hawaii and sent for what was called a "picture bride" who he married after 3 days of their meeting.  Well Mira wants to be a wife and mother, but when she is surprised to be told by preacher Gordon Covington that he was called by God to preach and that he should marry Mira, she was not happy about this turn in her life.  She was a schoolteacher with a good job and a place to live.  But does God also have plans for her and causing a little redirection in her life?

Such a good read.  I am so glad I was able to read this book and I wouldn't have wanted to miss it.  This author has definitely become a favorite of mine and I don't want to pass by any of her books!

Redemption in a Small Town by Melinda Curtis (Love in Harmony Valley Book 12)

This book was a wonderful addition to this fun series,  It is always fun to see the very interesting and diverse group of people living in this little town as well as seeing characters from a previous book making it feel like you are going back home. The book moves at a good pace and characters are enjoyable and add to the the previous towns people. This romantic comedy has some humor, which I so enjoy in any book I read.  The World is serious enough, and this book gives a bit of comedic relief.  There are some engaging twists and turns that keep you reading.  Nate and Julia make the book a truly awesome story.  Don't miss this title and addition to the series.
