Murder Comes by Mail by Ann H. Gabhart (A Hidden Springs Mystery Audiobook 2)

I have always loved a good mystery and this book definitely earns that title.  I had to keep guessing and messing up on who the culprit was!  And that is what I enjoy.  Ann does a good job of telling her story as writer and narrator.  I love a cozy mystery and this one was just perfect.  And there is just a bit of romance to create even more interest.

A Beach To Die For: A Clean Private Detective Mystery (Smiley and McBlythe Mystery Series Book 9 by Bruce Hammack

A wedding vacay turns mystery when a wedding guest says someone is trying to frame her. The mystery takes place in the beautiful Caribbean.  The blind detective is on it!  It is nice to read a clean mystery without the violence of some mysteries. This was an enjoyable read and the characters continue to really become friends as you get to know the personalities and quirks. I tried to figure out who dun it, but didn't quite figure things out.  A good mystery and entertaining read.

I received an ARC and was not required to give a positive review.  All opinions are my own.

Summer in the Spotlight by Liz Johnson (Prince Edward Island Shores Series Book 3)

When a hurricane destroys the Victoria Playhouse, Kelsey finds herself without her theater and her high school drama teaching job as well.  The start of the book grabbed my attention right away especially, having been a drama person since high school days.  I loved how they worked together to build a theater continue Kelsey's goals.  It wasn't quite as attention keeping as the beginning of the book, but was still a sweet and clean romance. This book showed people working together to reach a worthwhile goal.  There were reveals of painful pasts and romance.  It was a good read.

I received an ARC from the publisher and was under no obligation to post a positive review.  All opinions are my own.

Finding Family in the Small Town by Melinda Curtis (Love in Harmony Valley Book 8)

Book 8 of The Love in Harmony Valley series was a sweet romance that I enjoyed very much. Brittany Lambridge is opening a beauty shop in Harmony Valley.  I enjoy Harmony Valley as it reminds me so much of the little town that I lived in as a young girl, which is now almost a ghost town. Brittany is also looking for junk to create into art.  Then there's Joe and he is the mechanic with a not so good rep.

Joe is a single dad who is trying to put life back in order.  It's a sweet story with ups and downs and townspeople that add to a great story that I really liked.  It's a book you will enjoy and keep your interest throughout!

Healing the Mountain Man's Heart by Misty M. Beller (Brothers of Sapphire Ranch book 1)

This author writes the most amazing historical fiction.  You actually feel yourself living it. As Dinah and Naomi head out west to open a medical clinic and answer a mail order bride request, they find things do not always work out as planned.  This author writes wonderful adventure books.  And this first book to the new series was exactly that.  There were lots of chilling moments and sweet romance.  The characters were enthralling and it was easy to embrace them.  I can't wait to read the next book in the series!

Hidden Away at Promise Lodge by Charlotte Hubbard

I think I have read each of the Promise Lodge books so far.  This one just might be my favorite one.  I enjoyed the fact that the lodge was visited by 2 young women trying to bring back good memories of their young years at church camp and who loved Amish romance books.  It was a "perfect fit" for their one week stay.  I loved their appearance and am sort of hoping it won't be their last???

Anyway, the story kept me reading throughout.  I really enjoyed the different storylines that went through the book.  Each capturing my attention and then the fear that the lodge would be destroyed due to a horrific storm kept my attention. The characters were all charming and you get to be a member of the lodge residents with all its warm feelings as the story continues.  I recommend this book to Amish readers and those that are still wondering if they would like or love Amish books.  It is really worth reading!
