This was a sweet story and I really enjoyed it. I was also surprised that this was the first book that I have read by this author. I love the storyline which is written as a Christian type of reading material, which I really love reading Olivia was an enjoyable character that was quite real to me. Going to England to care for someone is also something that resonates for me as a caretaker as well. I love how they worked on the Hartbury Hall to restore it which is something that I would love to do as well. I loved how Liv was determined to make sure that the Hall was restored and was as a beautiful place as it was once long before. So this story was for me and I loved it.

Summer in the Spotlight by Liz Johnson (Prince Edward Island Shores Series Book 3)
When a hurricane destroys the Victoria Playhouse, Kelsey finds herself without her theater and her high school drama teaching job as well. The start of the book grabbed my attention right away especially, having been a drama person since high school days. I loved how they worked together to build a theater continue Kelsey's goals. It wasn't quite as attention keeping as the beginning of the book, but was still a sweet and clean romance. This book showed people working together to reach a worthwhile goal. There were reveals of painful pasts and romance. It was a good read.
I received an ARC from the publisher and was under no obligation to post a positive review. All opinions are my own.

The Maid of Ballymacool by Jennifer Deibel
I so enjoyed this book! I loved the setting. I loved the characters. And as I read the story and the strict rules and regulations, reminded me of my mom's experiences as a young student. It is a beautiful story and Brianna lives a life of servitude at the Ballymacool house and school for girls. The secrets will keep you guessing and so if you like a little mystery with your romance, you will love this book as well. I loved the Christian feeling of this book and how the circumstances of her life show that there is importance to our lives - no matter our station in life.
I received a copy of this book and was not required to leave a review. All thoughts are my own.

Once Upon a Farmhouse by Angie Dicken
I love second chance romance. I especially loved the Iowa setting having lived across the street from Iowa, literally as a young girl. The title drew my attention immediately and I ended up totally loving the story. I love the books that this author writes and the sweet romance! Yup, loved it! Returning to her grandfather's funeral was touching to me because my husband passed last week and our grandkids were his life.

A Chance to Heal, By Vannetta Chapman and Rebecca Kertz (2Novels in one book)
This is a book containing two separate books that have been reprinted and bound into one great book!
The first story, written by Vannetta Chapman is entitled "The Baby Next Door". And the second, was by Rebecca Kertz and entitled Loving Her Amish Neighbor.
The Baby Next Door
I love this book! I was so happy to read this sweet and fun read! I say fun because there were some humorous parts that were light and make you laugh. It was so enjoyable to read Grace and Adrian's story. Grace has a secret that weighs her down and keeps her from the happiness that she hopes for. Adrian runs a quirky and fun farm zoo of sorts and decides that tours for the Englischers would be a good way to earn some money. He engages Grace into his tour plans and from there the story unfolds.
It's just a good book and I really enjoyed reading it! I am sure you will too!
Loving Her Amish Neighbor
Lucy and her daughter are the victims of a hit and run to their Amish buggy. Gabriel sees their situation and steps up and helps them to get the help that is needed. Their new friendship grows despite their individual personal trials that they are going through. This story is a tender story of their healing from different but tragic events in their lives.
Both these stories combine into a great pair of stories of healing and love. Loved them both and was happy for the opportunity to read them
I received a complimentary copy of this book and was under no obligation to give a positive review. All thoughts are my own.

A Mississippi Sunset by Linda Weaver Clarke (Women of Courage)
I really enjoyed this sweet and clean historical fiction and romance. It's part of a series of brave women who were not afraid to take a stand in what they believe needed to be changed and you will see some historical figures that appear in this book! Loved that. I enjoyed that the Willow Valley people return such as the owner of the hot chocolate shop and others familiar from an earlier book. The characters are good people trying to make the best of the situations that they are in. However, yet it is not necessary to have read the previous books in order to be totally aware of what is happening in this, the third book. It's a great stand alone story.
This is a very enjoyable book and it is well worth a read!
I received an ebook copy of this book from the author and was not required to post a review. All thoughts are my own.

Never Leave Me (Waters of Time Series) Book 2 by Jody Hedlund
I didn't remember immediately that I had read the first of this series, till a bit later. Then the character, Marian, came rushing back to my memory. The book was quite thought provoking as one wonders who would or should receive the healing water? This is a time-slip book and goes between Middle Ages to current and leaves you feeling you have to keep on reading. There's no stopping now!
The lead characters are Ellen and Harrison. Each has serious health issues to deal through. This book, in my opinion, had so much to offer. Really enjoyed the action and the events till the very end.

The story was of good friends and some obstacles that sometimes stand in the way. The stories were are sweet and had some humor. The book will draw you in and you will enjoy it.

The Miracle Tree by Davalyn Spencer Audible Version
I just finished listening to this Audible version by Davalynn Spencer. It was really enjoyable and I enjoyed the romance, the storyline, and the characters so much. It was a western in today's time period, so not a "historical" western and was a book with plenty of action and enjoyable animals as well.
The narrator Michelle Dyan Whitehead did a nice job of telling the story and interpreting the characters. I loved the voices she used and it was pleasant to listen to.
I received an Audible version from the author. All thoughts are my own.

Sword of Trust by Debbie Lynne Costello Winds of Change Book 2
This was such enthralling book. I absolutely connected with this book. I felt like I was right there in the woods, in the castle, in the village. This book does that to you. Ms. Costello has a definite talent for bringing the reader right into the center of her story. You become a part of it. The story is so well written and the events come together so perfectly. The author has a wonderful command of medieval history and terminology.
This was a well written book which keep you guessing as to what happens next. I highly recommend this excellent book.
Complete with all the medieval details, charm and wonderfully strong characters, this book has it all. Secrets, betrayal, forgiveness and trust… It’s a book you want to read to the end, but yet, never want it to end!
I received an ebook copy from the author. All thoughts are my own.

Second Chance Homecoming by Linda K. Rodante
I just discovered I had this as an e-book that I had purchased and I won a paperback copy from the author. And which version did I read? Why the paperback, of course!
Because it was of novella length, I finished it in one sitting. It was a light, easy to read and enjoyable romance of two people who had once had hopes for one another but didn't work out at that time.
Very sweet, Christian and fun to read. I recommend for a relaxing and nice story.
I received a copy from the author and all thoughts are my own.

What The Heart Wants by Virginia Wise
I really enjoyed this book, and I am really fond of historical Amish books. The characters were fun and Christina was definitely outgoing and a little bit of a schemer. Loved that.
I loved the frontier type adventure that these Pennsylvanian settlers experienced. I loved their simple life styles, work and ways of survival.
It was an enjoyable book and I hope to read more from this author and this time period. Really fun and entertaining.
I received this book from NetGalley and Zebra Publishing and was not required to give a positive review.

Desert Intrigue Audible Version by Linda Weaver Clarke
This book takes place in the Superstition Mountains. Even just the title points to a great read! I enjoyed the tale of the Lost Dutchman and all the mysterious adventures that take place in the lives of John and Julia. Evans.
In this read you will find, mystery, suspense, wedding plans gone awry, a trip to the hospital and a very exciting backdrop in the Arizona desert.
The narrater was Carolyn Kashner, who has narrated several other books of this author. She does a great job of helping the listener know who's who.
I received an Audible copy from the author. All thoughts are my own.

Just in Time For Christmas by Davalynn Spencer
Seth Holt has loved Abigale since before he knew better. And now that she’s back in the high country, she’s still as bull-headed as ever. But Seth can match her, and he’s determined to keep her out of harm’s way and in his line of sight. Trouble is, he’d rather keep her in his arms.
This was a great read. The beginning grabs you from the start. The characters were interesting and the story plot kept you reading. It was a sweet romance with a bit of intrigue/mystery to keep the interest going. I liked the interaction between Abigale and Seth and the tension between them.
I recommend this very nice read and am sure you will enjoy it.
I received an ebook copy from the author. All thoughts are my own.
