Saving The Mountain Man's Legacy (Brothers of Sapphire Ranch Book 8)
I have read each of the books of this series. Why? Because I absolutely loved every single one. It is such a captivating series. I loved book 8 because it tells the story of Sampson and his unexpected bride. The characters of previous books of the series appear and take an active part in this book, as well. As Grace and Sampson and an abandoned baby first meet a great story begins. It was a book that I could not put down and I was so happy that I had the opportunity to read this riveting story.

Silver Lining at Mustang Pass by Cindy M. Amos (The Men of Mustang Pass Book 1) Audible Version
This was a very enjoyable book to listen to. I am starting to like Western historical fiction more and more. This story of the time of settlement in Montana and mining adventures will keep you spellbound until the very end. It has some mystery, adventure and just a touch of romance to make for a well-rounded story.
I liked the voice of the narrator, Paul Curtis, who seemed to be perfect for this story. It's a clean and sweet book and I enjoyed it very much.
I received an Audible version of this book from the author. All thoughts are my own.

An Impossible Price by Davalynn Spencer Front Range Brides Series Book 3
I loved this sweet historical read. It's a book that is hard to put down. Sophie is a midwife and Clay arrives in town and stirs lots of feelings in her heart. But there is something holding Clay back in their relationship.
This book was well written and grabs you right from the very start. It would appear to me that the author either has a great knowledge regarding things written in this book or did a lot of research. It seemed very accurate to the time and the setting. It's a sweet romance with characters from the earlier books which I always like to see and remember.
I truly enjoyed this book and am sure other readers who enjoy western historical books will just love it.

Just in Time For Christmas by Davalynn Spencer
Abigale Millerton leaves a Denver women’s school and returns to her grandparents’ high-country ranch to find the boy she’d grown up with not a boy any longer—and butting in on her challenge with local timber thieves. If he’d stop telling her what to do, they might get along.
Seth Holt has loved Abigale since before he knew better. And now that she’s back in the high country, she’s still as bull-headed as ever. But Seth can match her, and he’s determined to keep her out of harm’s way and in his line of sight. Trouble is, he’d rather keep her in his arms.
This was a great read. The beginning grabs you from the start. The characters were interesting and the story plot kept you reading. It was a sweet romance with a bit of intrigue/mystery to keep the interest going. I liked the interaction between Abigale and Seth and the tension between them.
I recommend this very nice read and am sure you will enjoy it.

Mail-Order Misfire by Davalynn Spencer
This book was a breath of fresh air. A sweet western romance with wonderful characters, a captivating story-line and of course a little action, as well.
Bern Stidham was both preacher and sheriff, and widower with a 9 year-old daughter to raise. Unbeknownst to him, his daughter arranged a bride for him. And when the bride, Etta arrives, what is he to do with her?
It was a sweet, happy, clean and Christian read. I just loved it!

When You Are Near by Tracie Peterson
I really enjoyed this historical fiction. The storyline was new and fresh, subject matter that I haven't read about yet in a book. There was murder, romance, suspense, humor and a lot of good action. All combined in a clean and entertaining read. I loved the prayers.
I enjoyed the train setting and how they lived in the train during the course of their show travels. I saw the images that went through my mind as I imagined I was watching the shows and the intricate tricks that Lizzy did as she rode around in the ring. You could truly visualize the show through her descriptive writing. You won't want to miss the show!
Loved it.

This Homeward Journey by Misty M. Beller Heart of the Mountains Book 5
Anxious to travel by horse to Canada with her 12 year old son, Rachel sets out on her own to find her brother. She is leaving behind a late husband whose addictions caused anything but a happy life. No longer trusting she refuses to travel with some men who are going in the same path as she had planned. But things change as a close call with a bear, makes Rachel realize that there is safety in numbers.
I loved this book. Exciting from page one till the end. I have enjoyed the whole wonderful series by this author. You will not be able to put it down. I did find myself a bit frustrated with Rachel in refusing help so often. But that was the type of woman she was. The book shares a story of faith, trust and the importance on relying and trusting in God. Really loved how the story proceeded, the characters and that the author can really create a wonderful read. Highly recommended.

A Western Christmas Homecoming by Lynna Banning, Lauri Robinson, Kathryn Albright
This book was written by three authors and contains three different stories. By different, I mean that they are not continuous, but each is unique. I enjoyed the stories but the first was just a bit on the edgy side. I prefer clean romances and it was a bit suggestive. Just my personal preference.
The other stories were nice western historical romances and very enjoyable. They were all based on a Christmas theme and I love reading Christmas stories. They were very nice and enjoyable stories.
I received a copy of this book from one of the authors. All thoughts are my own.

Lawfully Matched by Loranna Hoopes
This is the second book of this author that I have been fortunate enough to read. Very sweet romance. The characters were well matched and made a good fit even though they had no idea!
Enjoyed how the steadily paced book progressed and there was suspence and romance to keep things interesting.
The book was of a novella length and I was able to finish it in one sitting. I enjoyed it very much.

Love's Compass by Carla Gade with Bonus Story by Darlene Franklin
I really enjoyed this Western historical romance. There were some really nice scenes, exciting scenes and was a sweet, clean, romance. This is the first book that I have read from this author, but enjoy this type of book. And I wasn't disappointed. It was a nice depiction of Western life, adventure, and trials.
There was also a nice bonus story by Darlene Franklin. I also enjoyed this book, as well. Hope to read more from both of these fine authors.
I received this ebook from NetGalley for my honest review, which I have given. All opinions are my own.

The Memory of Love by Tammy Shuttlesworth with bonus book
This was a really sweet book and the first time that I have had the opportunity to read a book by this author. It was an American historical romance with some very nice writing. I enjoyed the story very much.
Callie Troyer joins a Moravian Brothers mission group and serves as their medical helper there. A stranger comes to the mission also with medical training and seems to have an interest in her. A part of her past and her future seem to come together in a most interesting way. The story has its sad moments and trials as the pioneering souls fight to make a life.
A very nice Christian read. I believe it was probably of novella length. It comes with a bonus sequel, Healing Sarah's Heart.
