Remember Me by Tracie Peterson (Pictures of the Heart Book 1)

I  Just loved reading this story!  Overcoming what has happened in the past is not always easy.  Forgiving oneself, especially and trusting in God for things we can't control.  And that is what I felt had to happen for Addie to completely move past what she experienced in her life.  This Christian romance takes place in Seattle in the year 1909 at the time of the Alaska-Yukon-Pacific Expo.  Moving from the Yukon to Seattle, Addie starts a new life and wants to forget the past, but the past won't stay away.

A very interesting read and I finished it in two evenings.  It was hard for me to put the book down and it really captivated my interest and held it till the very end.  I am sure you will just love it!

I received this book from the publisher and was not required to leave a review. All thoughts are my own.

Serving Up Love A Four-in-One Harvey House Brides Collection by Tracie Peterson, Karen Witemeyer, Regina Jennings and Jen Turano

This was actually a book that I won from a Goodreads contest.  Lucky me!  It was a great book.  This fun and interesting historical fiction had some nice stories that were captivating and each was unique and different.

There was one new author for me and that was Regina Jennings, and I have to say that I enjoyed her story and her writing style very much.  The stories took place in different and interesting places and I enjoyed learning about some new historical facts.  I honestly wasn't aware of this group of women and looked it up to learn more about them.  Very interesting!

When You Are Near by Tracie Peterson

I really enjoyed this historical fiction.  The storyline was new and fresh, subject matter that I haven't read about yet in a book.  There was  murder, romance, suspense, humor and a lot of good action.  All combined in a clean and entertaining read.  I loved the prayers.

I enjoyed the train setting and how they lived in the train during the course of their show travels.  I saw the images that went through my mind as I imagined I was watching the shows and the intricate tricks that Lizzy did as she rode around in the ring.  You could truly visualize the show through her descriptive writing.  You won't want to miss the show!

Loved it.

I received an ebook copy from NetGalley.  All thoughts are my own.
