Unforgotten: (Amish Romantic Suspense Story with Forgiveness and Second Chances) By Shelley Shepard Gray

Bethanne has found life hard after an attempted assault.  She lives with the memory and it fills her mind. Her cousin is running for Miss Crittenden County and has a stalker. Its an amazing Amish suspense that keeps you reading because you have to find out who the culprit is.  The characters are great and the storyline is very realistic.  It definitely keeps you on the edge of your seat.  And of course there is romance and so it has all the good stuff! Well recommended!

Cowboy Santa (Cowboy Academy #6) By Melinda Curtis

This book totally hooked me in from page one!  Being called to the principal's office brings back memories as a kid and a parent.  The two seven-year-olds definitely have something up their sleeves.  Loved it.  Chandler and Izzy, both single parents definitely have different opinions as to the decorating job she is doing at his ranch.  Their kids have plans and they will do what is needed to make sure things go as they want in their matchmaking agenda!  This is a sweet Christmas romance.  I really enjoyed it and especially the two kids, Sam and Mae who are so cute.  Chandler and Izzy are somewhat reluctant from past relationships.  But their kids are determined!

A Cowgirl On His Doorstep: A Clean and Uplifting Romance (The Blackwell Belles Book 3( by Anna J. Stewart

This was such a sweet read.  I loved it. And I have loved this series!  The Blackwell Belles, Iris Blackwell and her sisters were a group that performed as trick riders.  Now Iris remodels trailers and travels all around as she does this work.  And that's how she meets Shane as his father requested she work on his old camper. It's a sweet romance and I love the family appeal. This was a book worth reading and I really enjoyed it.

I received and ARC copy of this book.  All Thoughts and opinions are my own.

Freedom's Promise: Path to Freedom Book 3 by Pegg Thomas

I am loving this series, and this book was really, really good.  It was so engaging that I had a really hard time stopping for the evening to get some sleep! Yes, it was captivating and a wonderful addition to this book series.  You won't want to miss this wonderful historical  taking place during the slave days and the Quakers in Ohio. The characters were so well developed and you felt that you were there watching the events unfold.  Zachary, a freed slave and a Quaker, finds an escaped slave and the storyline that follows is so engaging you will be completely enthralled.  I definitely was.  As he helps others, he is at risk to lose his freedom.  There is a second storyline in the book with Daniel looking for his grandson in the Quaker community.  This is a wonderful read.  I know others will enjoy this book, especially those who enjoy historical fiction.

The Unplanned Christmas Family by Angie Dicken (An Uplifting Inspirational Romance)

For Natalie it is time for a break from work!  But grandmother's have a way of "roping" you into something that you may not have planned on doing, and such is the case as her grandmother requests her help with a retirement home Christmas fundraiser.  Thad is the director of the retirement home and he and Natalie don't always see eye to eye as fundraising plans move forward.  I love how the author's books are from the state of Iowa, my neighbor state growing up as a child.  I lived "across" the street in a Minnesota border town and my friends and I would ride our bikes "out of state" on a frequent basis. So Iowa really has a warm place in my heart. The setting of the book just makes you feel "cozy".  This was a sweet story of a matchmaker type, which I just love with a feel-good ending.  This is a very nice Christmas read!

A Healing Touch by Suzanne Woods Fisher

So I totally loved this book!  I loved Annie and her ambitions to do what Amish girls don't really do!  I love Dok Stoltzfus and wish she was my doctor! She doesn't just heal the body, but also the feelings of those who need comfort.  How would that have been?  This was a totally engaging book that was hard to put down.  It was a touching story that has both Amish and English people and how they work together.  As Annie works for Dok, she feels the need to further her knowledge in helping people, but her parents don't quite agree and have reminded Dok that she will be needed in the spring at the family farm.

Great book from this amazing author.  Totally loved it.  I received an ARC of this book.  All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Unlikely Suitor: An Amish Christmas Story (Unlikely Series Book 6) by Jennifer Spredemann

This was a sweet story around Jaycee Parker, all grown up. This was a sweet and realistic story.  Things that happen in real life.  The story tells of Jaycee and his meeting Lauren. Jaycee is all a young woman could want. He and Lauren have had lives that were not always easy. As Jaycee shares his faith with Lauren, it is clear that God has His hand in their new paths in life.  The search for Lauren's family reminds me so much of my search for my mother's family.

His sister and her boyfriend are a sub-plot, with their story as well.  It is a fast moving story of love, forgiveness and family unity.  But life happens and things aren't always perfect.

I love how the characters from the previous Unlikely books still come into play and add richness to the story.  This book has a real engaging plot that you can't put down.  I highly recommend this book and all the previous ones!  I have loved them all!

I received an ARC of this book for which I am most grateful.  All thoughts and opinions are my own.
