A Cowgirl's Christmas Reunion by Cari Lynn Webb The Blackwell Belles Book 5

I have been avidly reading this series called The Blackwell Belles.  Love the series and loved this book!  This is Willow and Nolan's book.  This is the final book in the series and I enjoy each of the sisters in the series and how they find their happy ending. This is a reunion book of all the sisters each of whom has had a interesting story and reason why the reunion is a bit worrisome, especially for Willow.  She has missed her sisters And although there have been difficulties, will they be overcome?  It's a sweet story of a second chance. The authors that have written these books have done a good job with each book in the series.

I received an ARC copy of this book.  All thoughts and opinions are my own.

A Small Town Christmas Reunion by Melinda Curtis (Love in Harmony Valley Book 15)

After a terrible experience, Jill has a baby that she desperately needs to protect.  Vince was the answer to that and they quickly married and then she leaves Vince.  He comes back into her life feeling that he wants this marriage of convenience to be a real marriage. But Jill is planning a divorce.

I really enjoyed this book and it kept me reading till the very end.  It is a sweet romance and the holiday joy of a child is always a wonder to see and in this case, read about. This is truly a heartwarming story that was a joy to read.  So glad I did!

B is for Bonnet by Shelley Shepard Gray Book 2 Amish ABC's

I was lucky to read both books of this series.  I knew when I read the first book, that I wanted to keep reading this series.  And glad that I did.  It was a light read and a story of 4 siblings that had experienced  a divorce of their parents prompting them to move to the grandparent's home and considered joining the Amish faith, which was the original faith of their father who "jumped the fence". This was "Jonny's story in which he meets Amish Treva after hearing of news of his health that need addressing by changing his  personal lifestyle.  Forgiving others was a strong thread that carried through the story

The story was sweet and I enjoyed it. It was a good read and I look forward to C is for Courtship!

I received an ARC of this book from the publisher.  All thoughts and opinions are my own.

The Amish Baker Caper: A Willow Springs Amish Mystery Romance book 2 by Tracy Fredrychowski

Ruthie Mast is a strong-willed Amish woman.  I loved her character as she was going to find out who was causing all the crimes occurring in her otherwise peaceful Amish village.  Leaving no stones unturned, Ruthie befriends Isaiah, who at first she doesn't quite trust, is he involved in the crimes? Or will he help her resolve the mysterious events that seem to continue to happen.  This book was not only mysterious, it was very entertaining and the pacing was great as there were no boring moments.  I was immediately engaged with the events and the family backgrounds that come to play in this book!  I loved it.  I can't wait till the next book comes out!

I received an ARC and so happy about that!  All thoughts and opinions are my own!

Guarding the Mountain Man's Secret (Brothers of Sapphire Ranch Book 7)

This was such a good book.  I could really feel the pressure felt by Clara as she tried to protect the Coulters and also her father, whose life had been threatened.  This was a book that keeps you on your toes and as with most of this author's books, there is no shortage of action and lots of great reading. Clara is a very engaging character and has lots of decisions to make in this story.  There is also a "next" book yet to come and having read all of this series, I am not going to want to miss book 8!

I received an ARC copy of this book from the author.  All thoughts and opinions are my own.

The Rise and Fall of Miss Fannie's Biscuitsby Wanda E. Brunstetter and Martha Bolton

This is a cozy mystery about a baking competition and suddenly there are threatening notes and missing contestants.  Fannie is hoping for a blue ribbon this year as she decides to enter, as she previously has with her Aunt's recipe of Buttermilk Biscuits.  Suddenly trouble starts to brew and she and Foster Bates, private investigator, are on the lookout for whatever may be going on.

The story is a fun, easy-going story with small hints of a possible romance.  It was an enjoyable read,
and a relaxing read.  I liked the story and I look forward to reading more if this becomes a new series.

I received an ARC copy of this book.  All thoughts and opinions are my own.
