Amish Jane Doe by Shelley Shepard Gray

I was enthralled.  This book will hold your attention throughout.  The characters are wonderfully created and I love how they help one another in this cold case!  The book makes you read it straight through without stopping.  You will not be able to put it down.  The twists and turns will keep you wondering what happens next???  Yes, this one is a page-turner!!!

The Amish Twins Next Door by Vannetta Chapman An Indiana Amish Bride's Romance

You just can't go wrong with a book from Vannetta Chapman!  From the first time I started reading Amish fiction, this author quickly became one of my faves!  She has excellent writing skills and can weave an interesting tale.  I haven't missed even one book of this series of Indiana Amish Brides Romance. They have all been great and are all stand alone books.  The characters are all new in each of the stories.

I totally enjoyed this sweet romance.  I loved the caring characters and the cute and ever-so lively twins. With two, there is always lots of  activity and these boys are no exception.  I really enjoyed this book as I did all the others.  So happy to have read such an uplifting book.  You won't want to miss it.

Husband by Arrangement by Angel Moore

I really enjoyed this sweet story of an arranged marriage.  The main character, Rena found herself expecting a baby, alone.  Her father arranged for her to marry the sheriff.  Rena had a very difficult time forgiving herself of her past and often blamed herself for the problems that came to her father and her husband.

It was a nice book of forgiving, and of healing.  This is the first book that I have read from this author and very glad I did.  Left me feeling very happy that I had read this book.  I will be looking for more of her writings.

Highly recommended!

Amish Christmas Memories by Vannetta Chapman

OK, I have to admit that this is the first time in ages that a book brought some tears to my eyes.  It definitely hit me a few times.  I have been so lucky to read such wonderful books.  This one was so good and I absolutely loved this.

The story was good and the feelings of love for family and friends and those around you at the time of  Christmas was deeply felt by this book.  It was a book of caring, love and the Spirit of the holiday and the birth of Christ.

It showed you can be different in many ways, yet you can still care about each other.  It was just plain good.  Read it!

The Rancher's Answered Prayer by Arlene James

This is the first book that I have read from this author.  I enjoy many of the Love Inspired books from this publisher, and I really enjoyed reading this one.

The storyline is a new one, too, of people that both inherited property from the same person and received "different" parts of that inherited property.  Neither wishes to give up their rights and so they must work together to make it work and all come together.

The story is a fun one to read.  Liked it very much!

Small-Town Dad by Jean C. Gordon

Neal Hazard is a electrician who raised his daughter and gave up opportunities for an education.  Now his daughter is grown and he returns to school  He meets a woman that was actually his prom date in high school who is a college advisor.

They start to rekindle old feelings and as a sudden guardian of a minor child, she finds herself in a new unexpected role with no previous experience.

The story was alright but seemed to move a bit slower than I would have hoped.  Nice theme but perhaps maybe it could have moved a little quicker or had a little more "action".  That said, it was a nice book.
