Sabotage at Cedar Creek by Janice Thompson (The Little Red Truck Mysteries Book 2)

I love when books are based in Texas, one of my fave places to visit.  This is book 2 and unfortunately, I missed book 1.  I loved the mystery and the romance and the small town feel of the book with its interesting characters. There is a little suspense, but is definitely a cozy mystery. There is also a bit of humor in the book.  I love going to B&B's and so this story definitely resounded for me.  There were several possible suspects that were making it a bit difficult to be certain of who was doing the sabotage and why.  You will enjoy the fun story.

I received an ARC copy from the publisher.  All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Off The Chain by Janice Thompson Book 1 Gone to the Dogs Mysteries

This was a cute and humorous cozy mystery and the start of a new series of books by this author.  This was a completely new author to me and it was interesting to get to know her writing style.  The story follows a workplace veterinary clinic and we see Marigold who hopes to start a rescue ranch.  She herself rescues  a dog from a dangerous situation.  The clinic is vandalized and the mystery begins.

It's an enjoyable easy read that lovers of animals will definitely have fun reading. I liked the story and the unique plot that developed.

I received a complimentary copy of this book and was not required to post a positive review.  All thoughts are my own.

My Heart Belongs in San Francisco, California by Janice Thompson

I was so happy to be able to read this addition to the "My Heart Belongs" Series.  It was a sweet story, Abby and Sam's story and I really enjoyed reading it.  If the rest of the series is this good, I for sure will be reading all of them!  That's a lot of reading.

I enjoyed the characters and the discoveries that socialite Abby made bringing many unexpected changes in her life.

San Francisco in the growing years seems to have not been quite the same as we know it now, so it was nice to see the contrasts and the growing pains, so to speak.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from Barbour Publishing and NetGalley and was under no obligation to post a review.
