The Postcard by Beverly Lewis

This was an Amish mystery and started out quite strongly and grabs your interest.  During the middle there were some parts I thought were maybe just a little on the slow moving side.  The end was dramatic and really, really good.

The Amish widow, Rachel witnesses the deaths of husband and son and causes her some psychological problems, as of course, a tragedy can cause.  I wanted to see her resolve that, but it didn't happen in this book.

A magazine reporter finds a postcard that starts some unexpected reactions from the locals.  He investigates and this mystery is very interesting and has an emotional resolve.

I really enjoyed the book and was glad that I checked it out from the local library.  It was a good read.
