Lizzie's Little Mouse by Anne Blackburne
This was a really fun cozy mystery. I loved the characters and Little Mouse, especially! As someone makes efforts to foil Lizzie's plans for a successful New Orleans style French bakery, Lizzie and her friends face several obstacles to keep things going. Her friends are there to help and a little romance adds to the story, of course. Who is trying to cause her to give up on her plans? And I love the historical aspect that totally engages me! It is a refreshing new book of an Amish Entrepreneur who faces unexpected trials and twists! I loved it!
I received an ARC copy of this book from the Publisher. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

The Peacemaker by Wanda E. Brunstetter (A Mifflin County Mystery Book 2 of 3)
Her best friend suddenly disappears. Her boyfriend Ephraim is thought to be a suspect by some of the townspeople. It is a clean novel and a cozy mystery. The characters are very likeable and I enjoyed reading about Ada and Ephraim as they become closer. She likes him and doesn't know where their relationship is headed because of this disappearance. Will his feelings be reciprocated or is his mind and heart still with his missing girlfriend? It's a good book and I enjoy this author's books and try to read them all.

This book is a great mystery and will keep you turning pages till the very end. I enjoyed the mystery and the continuation of the character, Jenny Hershberger, that I have enjoyed in past stories by this author. The story has lots of twists and turns. I think you will enjoy this book. It will keep you wondering throughout!

The Orphans' Amish Christmas by Tracy Fredrychowski (A Willow Springs Mystery)
I loved this novella. It was full of the Christmas Spirit and goodwill feelings. It's a cozy mystery that will keep you guessing. It is an enjoyable read and there is just enough mystery to make things very interesting. I loved the outcome and it leaves you in a very sweet and Christmassy mood. Things keep happening and you will wonder why and who is the culprit in the story. I received a complimentary copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

The Quilt That Knew by Patrick E. Craig
If you have read the Apple Creek Series by this author and even if you haven't, you will love this new book by Patrick E. Craig! What a mystery! It totally kept me wondering about "Who dun it". And I kept trying to figure it out and my mind changed as I continued to read. I just wasn't sure till the very end. It was a really good mystery and so well written. I could not stop reading until every last page was read. This book brought back the mystery lover in me and add that with an Amish setting, I was hooked! I was completely invested in this book. I loved the characters that returned from the previous books and I loved that the Amish aren't perfect, and that they are human as are we all.
I received an ebook copy of this book from the author. All thoughts are my own.

A Lancaster Family Secret by Kate Lloyd
I have read several books written by this author, but this one was definitely my favorite one. I totally related to Annette on her quest to find her birth parents. As I am a genealogist, I have done this for several families, including my own.
I loved Annette's character and how she grew in so many ways in this book. I loved how things are not always as they seem and we often have to look deeper to know how and why things happen as they do.
Annette and the Millers face several trials as the book continues and as they experience new changes and each comes to face their shortcomings, it is interesting to see how these challenges are faced.
This was a really good book with a storyline that was realistic. Real life problems.
I highly recommend this book!
I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher and was not required to post a positive review. All thoughts are my own.

Dead Broke by Vannetta Chapman Agatha's Amish B&B Book 2
I read the first book and so happy I read this one too! Love this author's writings, no matter which genre she writes, Amish romance, mystery or Dystopian. She is amazing. Such a fun and cozy mystery! I love the B&B theme and it is a comfortable yet very engaging mystery. The characters are fun, including Fonzi the cat. I actually had a dog with that name, so I loved that! Was fun to see 2 different series' characters merge into one story. I totally love that. Made me smile to see "old friends".
Agatha is a fun Texan Amish lady who befriended her former detective neighbor and together they engage in wonderful mystery adventures. They make a good team, perhaps in more than one way???
If you enjoy a great mystery, you will totally enjoy this book!
I received an ebook copy of this book from the author. All thoughts are my own.

Piecing It All Together by Leslie Gould
I opened this book and it was off to a fast start. No dull moments at all! So good. I enjoyed this book so very much. This was one interesting book having a captivating story from the past and a similar situation to those that came later. I loved that! The time-slip was very well done. It was interesting to read of the Amish migrations which is still fascinating in this day. The character, Jane Berger, writes a local history column and knows stories of the past that are perfect for those in the modern days. As she gets her quilters together and tells the stories, they touch the lives of those that need to hear them.
As is mentioned in the book blurb, Samantha's fiancee dumps her just before the wedding, yet later is he wanting to win her back??? And is she going to be tempted to do that??? Then there is a missing persons situation and who is blamed for the disappearance? Lots going on in this book and you won't be skipping pages to get to the good parts because the whole book is that good!
This is book 1 of a new series and I am hooked and will not miss the opportunity to read all the rest to come. Wow!
I received a complimentary copy of this book from Bethany House Publishing. All thoughts are my own.

Kappy King and the Pickle Kaper, An Amish Mystery by Amy Lillard
What appears to be a tragic accident may not have been as Kappy and Edie put their heads together to resolve what really happened to poor Sally June Esch. This is a great cozy mystery and keeps you reading to see "who dun it". I hope Kappy and Edie have some more mysteries to solve!

The Postcard by Beverly Lewis
The Amish widow, Rachel witnesses the deaths of husband and son and causes her some psychological problems, as of course, a tragedy can cause. I wanted to see her resolve that, but it didn't happen in this book.
A magazine reporter finds a postcard that starts some unexpected reactions from the locals. He investigates and this mystery is very interesting and has an emotional resolve.
I really enjoyed the book and was glad that I checked it out from the local library. It was a good read.

Who The Bishop Knows by Vannetta Chapman
Bishop Henry is again in the spotlight as his drawings of the crime scene appear on paper. Another murder mystery to cause deep concern and fears amongst the people in his Colorado Amish community...
This Amish mystery is not one you want to pass by. Very good read and gets your attention within the first page or two.
I enjoyed this book as well as the other books of this series and highly recommend it!
I received an ebook copy from Netgalley. All thoughts are my own.

Kappy King and the Puppy Kaper by Amy Lillard
I have enjoyed mysteries since I was young and so adding that to an Amish setting, another of my favorite genres, made this a very fun read.
A single, somewhat unusual character, Kappy, the Kapp maker for the local Amish women, discovers her neighbor dead with her mentally challenged son the only one nearby. Jimmy, the son of the deceased finds himself taken to jail for his mother's murder. His sister Edie, no longer Amish, finds herself returning home to care for her brother and the matters she will soon be facing.
As trouble looms, Edie and Kappy become close friends trying to find what really happened to Edie's mother.
The story is engaging, entertaining and fun. I think it would also be a fun read for the young adult and teen reader. I am sure you will enjoy it too!
I received a copy of this book from the author for my review. All thought are my own.

Amish Old House Mysteries The Witch Burning by D. Gail Miller
This was a fun novella. I always love a good mystery and add an Amish theme and it's all the better. I enjoyed reading this book and am delighted that although it was v. 3, I was easily engaged and didn't have the feeling that I was not sure what was happening and who was who.
This is the first I have read from this author. It was enjoyable and a good mystery.
I received an ebook copy of this story from the author for my honest review, which I have given.
