A Path to Forgiveness by Carrie Lighte and Vannetta Chapman

This book is a compilation of 2 previously released books.  The books are well written and enjoyable reading. In Carrie Lighte's book, Arleta is certain that marriage is not in the future for her.  She has a secret that will cause no one to want her, she is certain. The story is also about Noah and he too, has a troubled heart due to what he feels he should have done differently preventing serious and tragic consequences.  Both need to find a way forward.

I could hardly wait to read this book by Vannetta Chapman.  It was really good.  I enjoyed how two hurting people were able to help each other both physically and emotionally.

It also is a good example of the care and love of people who are in need.  It's about family caring for one another and help from God as well as trust in Him.

I recommend this book!  It was so good!

Caring for Her Amish Family by Carrie Lighte

I really enjoyed this sweet story of Anke and her non-Amish nephew.  I loved Anke's loving character and her patience.  She was a great example to everyone, even the difficult characters.  It was sad how the community was not willing to welcome her nephew and made it very hard to have little Will feel a part of both the family and the community.

I enjoyed the character of Josiah and how he was the only one that was willing to help in the situation that Anke found herself in. I felt so strongly in favor of Anke and what she was doing to help her sister and nephew.  She was a strong person in the book and you can't help but cheer her on.

Great family story.  So glad I purchased this last month!

The two stories are different and by different authors.  I enjoyed them both very much!

 Book 1. The Amish Christmas Secret by Vannetta Chapman

This is a sweet Amish romance written by one of my favorite Amish authors. I loved the two strong personalities that appear in both Daniel and Becca as they get to know each in their own way.  Daniel is holding back, while Becca is open and caring.  I even loved the appearances of "Cola".

I got a kick out of Becca's "projects" and her sweet personality.  The characters were such that you could really enjoy them as they interacted with one another.  I love how the community was caring and helpful.  That is something special that would be great asset to all communities coming together.

This was a very enjoyable book and a definite feel-good story, which is a great thing for Christmas and this year of 2020!

Book 2. The Amish Widow's Christmas Hope

This is another sweet story of a widow who inherits an uncle's house and in the town of a former sweetheart, Walker.  Its a story that pulls the heartstrings.  You will have a hard time putting the book down and how will things proceed with Walker?  This is a story of forgiveness and hope.  A very enjoyable read!

An Amish Winter by Vannetta Chapman and Carrie Lighte

This was such a nice book to read during a stressful time!  It was relaxing and sweet and I just loved reading and relaxing.  I am happy that I read this feel-good book with two stories from excellent Amish authors because it was a light, happy book.  The storylines were excellent and new.  I especially loved the first one.  Although the stories were of a shorter length, the characters were excellently developed and the stories didn't seem rushed in any way.

I would highly recommend this enjoyable and relaxing book for a cold Covid winters day!

Anna's Forgotten Fiance by Carrie Lighte

Anna has had an accident.  She has forgotten the memories of events in her life for about the last six months of her life.  As she recovers she has forgotten that she was engaged to Fletcher, a man she doesn't remember at all.

This story was a sweet story of faith, trust and understanding.  It was a very nice read.  I read it all in one sitting and enjoyed it a lot.  I had not heard of this author prior to reading this but I liked her writing style very much.

It's clean, it's warm and you will enjoy this Christian fiction story.
