She was a indentured singer on a riverboat.  She wanted to return to her family far away in New York.  This was an amazing book full of action and tension and love.  It's a beautiful Christian book that needs to be read.  I am so glad that I was able to enjoy this author's talent. 

I have enjoyed each book that I have read from this author.  She is a talented writer who reaches your emotions and writes books you can't put down till you are done.  

I love the "pay it forward" theme that was in this book.  We definitely need that!  And it is a faith-building tale that will make you smile!  It was a truly captivating book!

From This Moment by Kim Vogel Sawyer

This book struck a real cord for me.  It was a simple story or events that were common everyday events.  A story of a new youth pastor in a new town and state, starting out, and having issues in his recent past that caused him anguish and caused him to feel perhaps a bit unworthy.

Lori and Kenzie are the female characters, both which have situations in their lives that caused them to have a difficult time to move on and progress in their lives.  This was a really engaging story and although there were a few slower parts, it was still very beautifully written and made you want to continue reading to see how the difficulties would either be resolved or continued.  

This was a very Christian oriented book which revolves around a church in Kansas and their members.  Regardless of religious affiliation, you will still see how God is in control and that life's paths are guided by Him.

Unveiling the Past by Kim Vogel Sawyer

A very interesting and intriguing book  and gives a wonderful tale of forgiveness!  The book is Kim is a most interesting author as was this book as well.  Emotional and characters that compel you to keep on reading this excellent book.  Loved it!  As with all her books!

Destination Romance by Julane Hiebert, K. Marie Libel, Rose Allen McCauley, Kim Vogel Sawyer, Constance Shilling Stevens

This was a great romance collection.  There were 3 new authors for me and so that made it interesting.  The five stories in this collection were a unique collection, some historical and contemporary.  So something for all readers, I felt.

Each story was very different and I enjoyed each storyline as it developed.  This was a Christian read, and that's my style of reading.

I really enjoyed each of the stories and recommend the book.  It was very well written.

Ours For a Season by Kim Vogel Sawyer

This is the first book I have read from this author.  I must say. she is a really good writer!

This story of Mennonite Marty and her husband and her non-Mennonite friend, Brooke is so different!  A breath of fresh air, for sure. 

The story covers some difficult topics and the author does that very well.

As Marty's husband Anthony and his crew set out to help Brooke with her ghost town project, some really interesting surprises happen, and you can't stop reading this fascinating story.

I have a childhood fascination with ghost towns so this story grabbed me and kept me reading.  You will love it as you read how they learn about God's paths for them.  Really great read.
