Brooke's Quest by J.E.B. Spredemann (Amish Girls Series)

 

This is book 7 of this young adult series.  I read them out of order but I still enjoyed the story, the characters and the lessons learned.  It was a story of Brooke, an "Englischer" girl who searches for Christian values in her life.  The story depicts her wondering about Christ's teachings versus perhaps "science" and it's differing opinions, she finds her way through Seth who she quickly develops a relationship with.

It's a good story about the search for light.  I enjoyed it very much!

Abigail's Triumph by J.E.B. Spredemann Amish Girls Series

 

This really was an enjoyable addition to the Amish Girls Series.  It is V. 6.  It is a book about trust in God and that even with tragedy, we must trust and accept help from others.  The book was well written as are all books from this author.  They all have Christian values which is wonderful for the YA readers that this book was designed for.
