Jingle Bells, Rifle Shells by Bruce Hammack

Another good Steve Smiley and Heather McBlythe mystery to read!  Love this series.  There is always lots of mystery in these books.

After a shooting, Steve and Heather befriend Bella, a teen, whose step father was the victim.  The victim, Blake was very controlling and expoitatious over Bella's life and she was in great need of a friend.  Is her goal to find his shooter or to find her biological parents?

There's a long list of possible shooters, and Steve and Heather start the search.  There's some tongue-in-cheek humor as well and that makes the book a fun and entertaining read.

This book is a page turner and keeps you guessing throughout.  An enjoyable read.

I received an ebook copy of this book.  All thoughts are my own.
