The tragic story of the WWII time period and how a man was killed and lost to the World. The story brings us quickly to a contemporary time period and with the dying wife of Ulrich, the man who was killed and her great granddaughter, Haley.
This story takes me back to my mother's WWII life in Germany and lots of memories come to me as I read the events of the story and a mystery that needs to be resolved.
Great story. I couldn't put it down!
