Summer in the Spotlight by Liz Johnson (Prince Edward Island Shores Series Book 3)

When a hurricane destroys the Victoria Playhouse, Kelsey finds herself without her theater and her high school drama teaching job as well.  The start of the book grabbed my attention right away especially, having been a drama person since high school days.  I loved how they worked together to build a theater continue Kelsey's goals.  It wasn't quite as attention keeping as the beginning of the book, but was still a sweet and clean romance. This book showed people working together to reach a worthwhile goal.  There were reveals of painful pasts and romance.  It was a good read.

I received an ARC from the publisher and was under no obligation to post a positive review.  All opinions are my own.

The Last Way Home (Prince Edward Island Shores) by Liz Johnson

This is a clean romance from this author which gives lots of description of the setting of Prince Edward Island.  I enjoyed the book but there was a bit of sensual feelings in the book which made it not quite as Christian as I had thought it would be  The characters weren't the perfect people and there is hope in finding their way through life despite past mistakes.

I am not too big of a hockey fan but it was fine as it was written and the writing made hockey much more interesting than I expected.

There is healing, forgiving and life's hard issues.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from Revell Publishing.  All thoughts are my own.

Beyond the Tides (Prince Edward Island Shores Book 1) by Liz Johnson

This was an interesting story of two people who have hard feelings towards one another due to an event that happened in high school.  When Meg's father decides to sell the family business, Meg hears of her father planning to sell it to the one person she can't stand, Oliver Ross.  As the book continues, a contest to see who buys the fishing business, brings Meg together with Oliver and they have to work together for a season in a contest to see who will be chosen as the new owner.

There are lots of ups and downs in the both the lives of the two trying to be the one chosen and in the business itself.  They go through personal growth as they learn of one another's lives and past that brought them to this point. And Meg gives up her position at school as a teacher to work on the fishing boat.

I enjoyed the story and thought it was interesting and set in a beautiful place.

A Dazzle of Diamonds by Liz Johnson Georgia Coast Romance Series

This author was totally new to me and although this is not the first of the series, I really enjoyed it.

Best friends, Penelope and Tucker scheme to help each other in their various situations, by starting up a fake romance which turns into more as they work together in helping his political campaign and her self esteem as her ex-fiance and his new fiance appear at her business in order to have her plan their wedding.

There are interesting subplots as they hunt for Civil War Treasure to clear up Tucker's family's past and they study diaries of Tucker's ancestor in an effort to find this treasure.  That brought out the genealogy interest in me, yet again.  Love books like that!  So the story line takes you back to the 1860's in a split time presentation, making the storyline very captivating as their adventures continue and I think that held my attention throughout!

I received a copy of this book from Revell Publishing.  All thoughts are my own.
