With Every Memory by Janine Rosche

This was a really different book.  It was a book about real-life experiences and how the family dealt with the problems they faced both in the past and in the present.  There are several surprises in the book that I hadn't expected, so it kept me reading and interested throughout the book.  As the family faced difficult issues, it was interesting to see how they each responded and reacted to what was happening.  I enjoyed that there was a trip to Moab, which I can easily relate to.  A good read for sure, and I recommend it to my friends. Lori and Avery tell the story of their family and as time goes on and Lori regains some memories of her previous family life prior to her memory-erasing accident, they find they all need support to sort and sift through the past and what transpired.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from Revell Publishing.  All thoughts are my own.

A Single Dad in Amish Country: A Clean and Uplifting Romance, (The Butternut Amish B&B Series)

A Single Dad in Amish Country

by Patricia Johns

This book immediately engaged me because of the occupation of pilot for the character of Hazel.  Which is exactly what a family member is doing right now!  So I totally tuned in right from the beginning.  Then it continued to engage me because of characters wanting to know about the biological parentage.  This is something I have been doing in my career.   And I couldn't help but fall in love with Eeyore.  So that being said, this was a sweet story that I just absolutely loved reading.  It was just what I needed! It was a truly enjoyable book to read.  I am so glad that I was able to read this very nice book!  I really liked the author's style of writing.  Thanks to NetGalley for a complimentary copy of this book.  All thoughts are my own.

Murder on the Guadalupe by Bruce Hammack

This was a great mystery book!  There were lots of possible suspects to the murders that are committed and found floating in the river. I had no idea who the murderer was.   This was a very well written book that held my attention to the very end. It's a captivating read that you won't want to miss!

Her Amish Patchwork Family by WInnie Griggs

I was very lucky to win this book in a giveaway!  It was a very sweet Amish romance that in some ways taught some delightful lessons.  I loved how Martha encourages Asher to spend time with the kids.  The characters were enjoyable to read about and it was realistic and believable.  It was a clean and sweet book with family values.  The triplets are full of life and a handful and Lottie is very, very shy.  Martha is a wonderful nanny to the children.

Although this was the first book I have read from this author, I will definitely keep reading from this author!

A Murder of Aspic Proportions (A Sunflower Cafe Mystery Book 2) by Amy Lillard

This is the second book of this series with Sissy Yoder, as the town mystery solver.  The man who was murdered wasn't loved by the community leaving lots of possible murderers to sift through.  It was a cozy mystery and took place in Yoder, Kansas where there are lots of people of that  same surname, which is highly likely among the Amish community.  It was a cute story, with some hints of romance which weren't quite developed in this book but maybe will move forward in another addition to this series.  We shall see!

It was a nice and enjoyable read and I am thinking there will be some more books in the series.

A Small Town Memory by Melinda Curtis (Love in Harmony Valley Series)

I loved this sweet romance and I have really enjoyed this series, as well.  This book is about Jessica, a master baker, who has amnesia and finds herself pregnant with now an unknown father.  As she seeks to find her past and future, bits of memory return, enough to lead her to Harmony Valley.  Here in this small, quiet place she searches for her memory and the pieces to her past.  I think this is one of my favorites in this series.  I really enjoyed the romance and the story line. The elderly people in Harmony Valley remind me of the town I grew up in and the warmth that one finds in small town life.  I think you will enjoy this one!

I received a complimentary copy of this book.  All thoughts are my own.
