Hannah is a young Amish woman engaged to Christian. However, things don't always go smoothly in her life as she finds out the Christian hasn't been true to her.
She finds solace in the arms of Christian's best friend, however, this too ends of in a most unexpected way for Hannah. The secret she carries causes her heartache, remorse and fear as she continues through her life, unable to reckon with the events of her past.
This story shows the human side of people and how some people are more able to find forgiveness in their hearts than are others. This heartfelt book is a thought provoking book that makes you look inside yourself to know and understand how you would deal with similar situations and how you would cope and what paths you would need to find peace in your life again.
I highly recommend this book. It was excellent!
