The Curator's Daughter by Melanie Dobson

I really, really  wanted to read this book.  It did not disappoint.  The reason of my particular interest is because my parents were Germans living in their in this time period.  Although their situations were greatly different then that of Hanna, they too, were caught up in this horrible time.

The book is a time slip book, something I seem to have read quite frequently, lately.  This one was expertly accomplished and very believable.  The story of Hanna was totally captivating to me. I couldn't put the book down.  It was dramatic and poignant.  The contemporary and historical timelines wove together into an excellent story as they converged perfectly.  The research done was excellent.  I highly recommend this book.

I received an ebook version from NetGalley.  All thoughts are my own.

The Oregon Trail Romance Collection by various Authors

This book is a very sweet and entertaining set of nine stories of hardships and happiness.  I have read books from several of the authors and a few were new to me and I enjoyed them all.  Very nice and enjoyable book!

I would love to see more of these types of collections!

A Plain and Sweet Christmas Romance Collection by Various Authors

I love this set of Christmas stories.  I loved each one and the fact that they were of such interesting and diverse groups.  I have enjoyed many of these authors in the past and this compilation of shorter writers was excellent.  I am so happy to have the chance to read this exceptional book!

I received an e-book version of this book for review.  All thoughts are my own.
