A Heart on Consignment by Mindy Steele (The Heart of the Amish)

This was a sweet romance with Salina's parents worrying about her marital status.  Having difficulty finding the right person, Salina pours her heart into helping those whose lives have been upended by a terrible storm. Seth is a newcomer in the community with a sad experience as well.Salina and Seth meet and slowly their relationship grows.  Salina's mother is very determined to find the man for her but what will be her opinion of someone not of their community?  Salina's self-esteem revolves around her height, plain hair and face. But her kindness and friendliness makes up for what she feels is lacking.

It is a nice story and was enjoyable to read. I am sure readers of Amish fiction will find the book interesting and a good read.  I received an ARC copy of this book from the publisher.  All thoughts and opinions are my own.

These covers totally draw me in!  They are just beautiful.  I read the story written by Tracy Fredrychowski.  It was an excellent story.  It is a sweet romance that drew me in and the characters were well developed. I am sure you will enjoy this book!

Hunting For a Husband by Mindy Steele

Leah's is sure that the man she thinks is close to being "the one" is truly the one, but then he isn't. Joe had a serious accident as a teen that changed his life. He finds himself in a difficult position and Leah is there to help despite the fact that helping is not so convenient!  Then their story begins.  It is a sweet Amish love story with some mystery as well.  I love some mystery!  Keeps me on my seat! It was a good story that will draw you in and touch your heart.  Especially for those who know those with special needs and how hopes and dreams are not as easy to obtain.   I think you will enjoy this book and the characters!  I received an ARC copy of this book.  All thoughts and opinions are my own.

An Amish Christmas Table : Four Amish Christmas Sweet Romance Stories Tracy Fredrychowski et.al.

This book consists of four novellas revolving around Christmas.  These are perfect for the upcoming Christmas season and really for any time of year. I read Tracy Fredychowski's novella entitled Love beneath the pine.  Loved this story as it reminded me of being a caretaker, and yet still remembering to care for yourself, physically, spiritually and other ways, as well and to allow others to help you. Sometimes we are so involved as caretakers we forget we can't always do things alone. The antique table that Isaac restores, is a beautiful part of the book as it tells the story of times and people in the past. It's beautiful and a sweet story.

The Flower Quilter by Mindy Steele (The Heart of the Amish)

This book shares the feeling that we are not all cut out of the same cloth and that is the case with Barbara whose family members are all natural quilters.  But it is not "her thing".  She loves to find her own way and she finds herself in the town of her grandmother, (another family quilter) and meets Melvin and together they quilt beautiful landscaping of flowers in wonderful patterns.

It's a very sweet story and the first book I have read by this author.  I enjoyed it very much and hope to read more from this author.  Very nicely done! I received a complimentary copy and was not required to give a positive review.  All opinions and thoughts are my own.
