These covers totally draw me in!  They are just beautiful.  I read the story written by Tracy Fredrychowski.  It was an excellent story.  It is a sweet romance that drew me in and the characters were well developed. I am sure you will enjoy this book!

This book consists of four novellas revolving around Christmas.  These are perfect for the upcoming Christmas season and really for any time of year. I read Tracy Fredychowski's novella entitled Love beneath the pine.  Loved this story as it reminded me of being a caretaker, and yet still remembering to care for yourself, physically, spiritually and other ways, as well and to allow others to help you. Sometimes we are so involved as caretakers we forget we can't always do things alone. The antique table that Isaac restores, is a beautiful part of the book as it tells the story of times and people in the past. It's beautiful and a sweet story.

The Amish Quiltmaker's Uninvited Guest by Jennifer Beckstrand

Menno and his young girls are looking for a wife and a mama!  He leaves home to head to Colorado to find this woman and his to-do list has finding a wife as a priority which needs taking care of within a month before he needs to return home "with her".  The Colorado community has some good options for him but he has his mind set on the one person who appears to not be at all interested in him.  It's a really cute story and true to Jennifer Beckstrand style, filled with humor and keeps you entertained!

The Amish Quiltmaker's Unlikely Match by Jennifer Beckstrand

The title was definitely an appropriate one, as the unlikely match was indeed unlikely.  As Mary starts her quilt design, called the Drunkard's Path, she has no idea that something will quickly change life as she knows it.  A handsome drunken driver crashes onto the family's property and into the barn.  Mary helps in his rescue and as he offers to pay for all damages, Mary's father feels it more important to have him learn a lesson than to simply have him pay for the damages.  So handsome Clay begins his time as barn repairman.  No one of the family knowing who this man really was.  

There are lots of twists and turns as a sweet romance starts between Mary and Clay.  As Clay becomes accustomed to the family, he also becomes a close friend.  As unexpected things start to occur, Mary finds out there is more to this man.  

I really enjoyed this read and there was some humor, as is typical for this author, but there is also lots of drama.   Each character grows in their own ways in the story and it is nice to see the changes that take place.  I received a complimentary copy of this book from NetGalley and the publisher.  All thoughts are my own.

Second Chances on Huckleberry Hill (The Matchmakers of Huckleberry Hill Book 11

 You wouldn't want to miss even a single book from this author.  Every book she writes, leaves you wanting more!  And book 11 in this series was exactly that!  More please!

The author has another hit!  I love a good matchmaker story starring Felty and Anna and this was wonderful.  The humor, the emotions and family relationships were well captured and I hate to see that I am nearing the end of the book as I am reading.  I love this light-hearted writing style that gives you that "feel-good" feeling at the end of the book.  Don't miss this one!!

His Amish Sweetheart by Jennifer Beckstrand (The Petersheim Brothers Book 3)

It's Austin's turn for his brothers to play match makers for him.  Yes, the twins are at it again and they definitely want to get their brother out of the house, even if they don't always agree on a match for Austin.  It's a cute story that will make you smile and laugh and just enjoy a sweet clean romance.  

With two Amish eligible young woman interested in Austin, something exciting and fun is bound to happen.  I really enjoyed this story and the characters were engaging and fun to read about.  The author has a great sense of humor and that shows clearly in this lively story.

You are gonna love this one!

More Amish Christmas Miracles (Numerous Authors) Peanut Butter Christmas by Jennifer Beckstrand

 

I love Amish stories and this story by Jennifer Beckstrand did not disappoint.  I love the mischievous Amish twins, Alfie and Benji, who are always good at those necessary matchmaker needs.  If love doesn't go as it should, you can be sure twins are on it!  True to form, a fun and sweet Amish romance as told by Jennifer Beckstrand.

This story was one of ten delightful Christmas Miracle stories and so fun.  A second chance for Jerry and Mary.  Will the twins succeed in their sneaky plans or get themselves in trouble, as usual!

Truly a sweet and tender story mixed with some humor.  Although I am reading it after the holidays, it is every bit as good as before.  I recommend these sweet stories and hope you take the time to read them!

First Christmas on Huckleberry Hill by Jennifer Beckstrand

All the Huckleberry Hill Amish stories have been wonderful.  I enjoy them so much.  And this one tells how it all began!  It's like going back in time to the beginnings of this lively and ambitious Amish couple's own young lives. I loved reading this enjoyable book.  Felty has just returned after he served in the Korean War, despite the beliefs of his Amish community and religious teachings.  Yet Anna sees him for the person he really is and perhaps this will be her perfect match even though there is definitely some opposition to deal with.

I think this was a book that needed to be written to love Felty and Anna even more!  They are all about love!

The Amish Quiltmaker's Unruly In-Law by Jennifer Beckstrand

This was another good book by Jennifer Beckstrand.  I have enjoyed all her books.  This one taught a lesson of forgiveness.  And of self-forgiveness, the hardest kind.  And about growing up and continuing to learn and progress, repent and start over, sometimes more than once.

A good book about imperfect people who are still loved even when they themselves do not love themselves.

It was about mistakes and fixing them. Finding your true path in life, sometimes with the help of others. if you will let them.

I recommend it.  Very good book.

The Amish Quiltmaker's Unexpected Baby by Jennifer Beckstrand

I chose to read this as my next book because I love this author's books.  They always are humorous and right now--I needed a few good laughs.  And right from the start, that's how this book started.  

I really enjoyed the lighthearted read.  It was enjoyable.  Also the baby!  What a challenge to have an unhappy baby that never sleeps.  And I can certainly relate to that!  

If you want to have an enjoyable read, this one is just that.  I just loved it.

The Amish Christmas Candle by Kelly Long, Jennifer Beckstrand and Lisa Jones Baker

This book was published 3 years ago and I have just gotten around to reading it.  I love Amish fiction, but the first story of the 3 was too suggestive, definitely not in the Christian category.  And not the type of Amish I enjoy, which is clean, sweet and Christian.

The story written by Jennifer Beckstrand, was about her character Bitsy Kiem who is not your regular Amish character, with pierced ears, dyed hair and temporary tattoos, but she is funny and enjoyable.  This was the best story in the book and I really enjoyed it.

The final story was also enjoyable and clean and easy reading although didn't hold my attention.   

Amish Christmas Miracles Collection by Multiple Authors

I have read an early copy of Jennifer Spredemann's story 'An Unexpected Christmas Gift', one of the stories included in the Amish Christmas Miracles Collection' releasing November 10, 2020. This book is a compilation/anthology of 14 different stories by 14 authors.  Some are new to me and some are old faves! I am now anxious to read the rest of the stories! 

This was such a sweet story of an older Amish woman who thought perhaps she was beyond the normal marriageable age.  Through a mysterious gift she finds that God's mercy and His hand have a most incredible way of guiding her in the direction her life should take.  Without giving away the story, I will say that this book was a sweet reminder of God's attention to our personal lives and that His hand is in all things.  

I really enjoyed the message that was shared in this book and the story was fresh and new.   I really loved the story. 

I had the pleasure of reading another story in this book written by Jennifer Beckstrand.  This story was entitled Peanut Butter Christmas.

It was featuring the 8 year old Petersheim brothers, Alfie and Benji, a delightful set of twins that have been wonderful matchmakers.  They are full of fun, mischief and all about adventures!  The author is known for her wit and humorous reads that are very enjoyable, as was the case with this story.  This story is very enjoyable and filled with Christmas Spirit.

I also read the story Christmas to Treasure by Rachel J. Good.  I loved this story of a marriage of convenience.  It seemed like a story that would actually happen as people try to help one another in different life situations.  I enjoyed that there were conflicts and life was certainly not perfect as Rose might have hoped for as she was married to the man she had loved and lost to another woman and the memories of her seemed to linger.  This was a very heartwarming story and was sweet and left you with good feelings!

I think you will love this compilation.  Just so enjoyable.

I am sure this collection of stories will delight any readers of Amish fiction.  The stories are very fun to read!

I had the pleasure of reading another story in this book written by Jennifer Beckstrand.  This story was entitled Peanut Butter Christmas.

Jessie and James by Jennifer Beckstrand

I purchased this book at a reader's luncheon and finally had some time to read it!

Although not an Amish book, as I often read from this author, a fun and quirky  book.  The author has a definite sense of humor as also seen in her Amish fiction.  I love a nice, enjoyable light read which causes no stress!

Jesse was a true individual as she protected herself with a rifle close by.  James, a great character and a true gentleman, comes for mining, not Jesse's thing by any means.  The characters are fun, kind, and interesting.  There is some excitement and action to see and lots of fun reading.

You will enjoy this fun book.

Abraham by Jennifer Beckstrand

This is book two of The Petersheim Brothers series.  It is a wonderful example of this author's humorous and witty Amish romance books.  I love the humor as it makes me laugh out loud.  And I love that.  We all need to laugh!.

The younger brothers of the family are stuck sleeping in the cellar and will go to great lengths to get the older bros to marry and move out in hopes they will inherit those rooms.  The first attempt in book 1 failed and so they are at it again.  This time they hope to get quiet Abraham hitched.  They have the perfect match, Emma, in mind and are determined that this is going to be the key to moving "up" in the house.  But Emma has a lot of suitors.  Whatever are they going to do?

I really enjoyed book two and can't wait to see what happens next!

Andrew by Jennifer Beckstrand

If you love a light, happy read, with fun characters, you will really enjoy this great match-matching book by Jennifer Beckstrand.  This author seems to have lots of fun reads that are really enjoyable.

I love the story line of Mary Coblenz a teenager who jumped the fence and comes home pregnant and no longer accepted by her parents.  She goes to Aunt Bitsy for help.  Aunt Bitsy is a somewhat unorthodox Amish person and that makes her character even more fun.  It's a very entertaining read and teaches some great lessons on forgiving, not being judgmental and what family is all about.   I love Andrew's little brothers as they plot to find a match for him. 

Very worth reading and leaves you feeling good!

The Amish Christmas Letters by Patricia Davids, Sarah Price and Jennifer Beckstrand

This is a sweet Christmas collection from three talented authors.   The stories start with a letter to a member of Marybeth's Circle letter group telling the others of the latest events.  The letters make the rounds among all those on the list. 

The stories are romances and the romances are fun to read.  There are times to laugh and the letters are encouraging to each other as the three stories are not separate but are of each of the writing circle recipients.

I really enjoyed the stories and they all seemed to have enough length to be able to enjoy each story fully.

I recommend this book.  I really liked all three stories!

Home on Huckleberry Hill by Jennifer Beckstrand

It was great to read the next book in the Huckleberry Hill series.  This one was really different than those I've read in the past.  Instead of making a match for one of her grandchildren, Anna Helmuth attempts to fix a marriage and goes all out to do so.

This warm-hearted story shows the love of family bonds and also the trials that come when an Amish couple no longer gets along as one might hope they do.  The obstacles that poor Mary Anne has to work through are many as the people from church let her know how they feel about the whole matter. 

Written in Beckstrand style, this book held my attention throughout.  I am planning on reading whatever I can find from this author.

The Amish Christmas Kitchen by Kelly Long, Jennifer Beckstrand, Lisa Jones Baker

This book consisted of 3 Christmas novellas.  I always enjoy Jennifer Beckstrand's comedic relief in all her Huckleberry Hill books.  The 3 stories were clean and nicely written.  I have not read anything previously from Lisa Jones Baker.  It was an enjoyable story. 

Although not Christmas time, I grabbed this one at the local library and enjoyed it.  It was a quick read and enjoyable.

A Courtship on Huckleberry Hill (The Matchmakers of Huckleberry Hill) by Jennifer Beckstrand

Jennifer Beckstrand is one of my favorite Amish romance authors.  Her books are funny, real, and entertaining.  What more could you want?

It's book 8 of the Huckleberry Hill Series and I am still not tired of reading them!

Anna and Felty Helmuth of Bonduel, WI., are not your typical Amish, but you can't help but to love them!  Anna and Felty have had lots of success with finding the perfect match for many of their grandchildren.  And she has now found her granddaughter's match!  At least she feels that this is the case.  However, the two parties involved are not too eager to follow through with Anna's plans.

This book encompasses the lives of those in a physically disabled condition in an honest and down-to-earth way.  I enjoyed the messages and the strength that came through for the characters.  I think that you will enjoy this book, whether or not you have read the previous books. 

I recommend this book to those who enjoy Amish fiction.
