Silent Witness by Tracy Fredrychowski (An Amish Book Club Mystery Book 4)

I have always enjoyed a good mystery. This book as well as the  previous books of the series, were exactly that. I have read each one and enjoyed them very much.  This book starts with several fires in the Amish community and a body. I love the three ladies of the book club, how they write down each possible clue and try to compile all the evidence.  They are a fun bunch of ladies that never give up trying to resolve the problems in their community.  The characters were well developed and the storyline was well paced.  I am hoping the series continues!

I received an ARC of this book from the author.  All opinions are my own.

HIdden Poison: An Amateur Amish Sleuth Cozy Mystery by Tracy Fredrychowski

This series is great.  Both books in the series have just held my attention till the very end.  No slow or dull moments.  I loved both of these books.  The book club trio of Amish ladies are always finding clues to solve the case that has happened.  When the grouchy bishop of the Amish collapses and passes away in the cafe, a town becomes greatly concerned as to who dun it and what really happened.  It's a great read and very full of suspence. It's a book you won't be able to easily put down!

Buried Secrets: An Amatuer Amish Sleuth Cozy Mystery by Tracy Fredrychowski

I love an intriguing mystery and this book filled the bill!  The storyline kept me wondering just what would happen next.  I never knew what to expect.  Many people knew "bits and pieces"  And everyone has their opinions as to what happened and things continue to worry the townspeople. I think this book will be enjoyable and interesting reading for all. There are some exciting moments that will keep you on your toes.  Rosie, Irma and Lovina, bookclub sleuths, will leave no stones unturned!

Katie's Amish Journey Of Hope By Tracy Fredrychowski (The Amish Women of Lawrence County Book 8)

Katie's mother has passed away and her heart and soul are broken.  She no longer can function as she has in the past.  Her depression seems only to deepen as she draws further from family and friends.  Her husband needs her as do her little children.  As she experiences these feelings, loving friends help as best as they can.

This was a very touching story.  As Katie and family work through the trials they are now facing, there is always a ray of light that comes from an unknown person.  I am sure many of us have had these feelings to work through or had family or friends with these experiences.  It is a book of love, faith, hope and patience as the troubles are worked through.  I recommend this sweet story to those who enjoy Amish books.  The author has done a great job of bringing the different topics in the book to good closure at the end of the book. I received an Arc copy of this book from the author.  All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Miriam's January Promise by Tracy Fredrychowski

This was a story that can make you think about how the relationships with family members can hurt or help. Miriam struggles with an eye problem that worries her mother but also stifles her at the same time.  Miriam gets to know MJ and the two of them become good friends, both needing to find their own path going forward. Miriam's mother wants to match her up with a much older man with the purpose of him taking care of her.  Evelyn is certain that no one of her age would want to marry her daughter, Miriam, because of the eye  problems yet to come.

This is a touching story.  It is so well written you won't want to stop reading until you find out what happens.  So good! And I recommend it to you! This is part of a new monthly series and I love it already!

I received an advanced copy of this book.  All thoughts and opinions are my own.

The Case of the Stolen Fireworks by Tracy Fredrychowski (The Mystery Hunters Club)

I was so happy to read this young reader's book!  It took me back "many" years from when my friends and I walked all the way to the library every Saturday to get our Nancy Drew or Hardy Boys mystery books!  I loved mysteries as a young elementary age girl. And even though this was a younger reader book, I really enjoyed the mystery and the steps they took to try to resolve the "who dun it and why?"  I look forward to the second book in the series.  It was a cute story of friends and young detective work.  I think this would make a great gift for any young reader. I received a complimentary copy of this book.  All opinions are my own.

The Amish Widow's Last Stitch by Tracy Fredrychowski

This mystery was just a perfect read for me.  I am a mystery lover.  I love trying to guess how things will all work out and this book kept me guessing.  When Lizzie's grandmother suddenly passes, things just don't seem right about how that happened and why.  Lizzie is determined to find out.  She has worked with her grandmother at the yarn shop and she begins to sort through her grandmother's things in hopes of clues.  This is a great cozy mystery that I am sure any mystery and Amish book lover will enjoy.  There is just a little romance, but it was nice and a sweet story between Lizzie and Evert as their friendship grows.  I recommend this book!

Ruth's Amish Words of Faith by Tracy Fredrychowski

This was a really touching story that touches deeply on the heartstrings.  It is a story of two very different women, Ruth and Wilma.  Ruth is an Amish woman who has been diagnosed with breast cancer as has Wilma, a woman who is not Amish.  The two of them meet and share a very deep bond together.  Ruth shared her faith with Wilma and became a true support to her as they both navigated a very different life plan as they both would have hoped for.  The one quote that stood out to me in the book was "There's a joy in seeing the world in a new way, even if it's not what I'm used to."  And that seems to fit into many life situations. This was a book definitely worth reading and I recommend it highly.

I received an ARC copy of this book.  All thoughts and opinions are my own.

An Amish Christmas Table : Four Amish Christmas Sweet Romance Stories Tracy Fredrychowski et.al.

This book consists of four novellas revolving around Christmas.  These are perfect for the upcoming Christmas season and really for any time of year. I read Tracy Fredychowski's novella entitled Love beneath the pine.  Loved this story as it reminded me of being a caretaker, and yet still remembering to care for yourself, physically, spiritually and other ways, as well and to allow others to help you. Sometimes we are so involved as caretakers we forget we can't always do things alone. The antique table that Isaac restores, is a beautiful part of the book as it tells the story of times and people in the past. It's beautiful and a sweet story.

I received an ARC from the author.  All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Savannah's Amish Ties That Bind by Tracy Fredrychowski (The Amish Women of Lawrence County Series Book 6)

I loved book 6.  Savannah suddenly discovers her husband has taken off and she has no idea what has happened.  This leads her into a difficult position as she wonders how to continue with things as they now are.  She finds respite with her grandmother and finds out things about her heritage and that of her missing husband.  As she learns of the Amish, she finds confrontation from the community members because of the outside influence they feel she is bringing into the community.  Will she find her husband and the reason for his disappearance?

This book revolves around love, family, repentance and forgiveness.  They story held my attention throughout and it was really engaging.  Never a dull moment. I highly recommend this book to those who enjoy Amish reading, a bit of mystery and conflict.

Now you can get all 3 books in one great set!  I really enjoyed each one. Get yours today!

Book 1

Emma is anxiously awaiting the birth of her child when tragedy strikes and claims all her happiness.  She tries to cope but needs to find her way to recovery, but she can't find the peace she needs despite all the attempts to help her from family and friends.  The firm ways of the Ordnung of her people is not helping in her situation.  She searches for the way to peace through Jesus' teachings bringing the hope she needs to overcome her trials.

I love how this book teaches us to rely on Jesus and the teachings of the Bible.  And to have faith in God's love for us.  It's a very engaging book of a strong Amish woman who needs to understand and follow God's plan for her and her family and find the resolve for her emotional journey.

I highly recommend this wonderful book!

Disclosure: I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. I was not required or asked to leave a positive review. All thoughts are my own.

Book 2

Rebecca's personality is anything other than the typical sweet Amish woman.  Her past continues to haunt her as she struggles to not allow others to come to close to her.  She is definitely in need of something in her life that will help her chart a better course for her future.

She finds herself caring for an Amish woman whose past also haunts her.  The two of them find a common road traveled with secrets that they can't find a way to resolve their pasts.  I love the lessons learned, the trust that only God can provide and repentance and forgiving oneself.  It's an excellent example of Christian faith and love.

I read this book in one session.  It was too good to put down.  And there were no slow moments.  It was totally captivating.  It had me on page one!

I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author and was not required to post a positive review.  All thoughts are my own.

Book 3

I loved getting to read book 3 of this series.  The Amish women of Lawrence County series always seems to have a good Christian theme and this one has as well.

Anna is living in a world of anxieties and after her faith is stretched to the limit, family and friends hopefully will give her the support she needs.  After Simon leaves just before their wedding, how will she be able to trust again? After he returns, will she be able to have a life with him?  With God's help the decisions will become clear.

I really enjoyed this book, as I have the previous books in the series.  I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author with no requirements of a positive review.  All thoughts are my own,

Allie's Amish Family Miracle by Tracy Fredrychowski

This book totally held my attention throughout.  There was lots of great reading to keep me turning the pages.  It started out difficult for Allie, a Mennonite young women who loves Reuben, an old order Amish.  As Reuben's mother realizes this she tries everything she can think of to sabotage their relationship.  For various reasons, Saloma, Reuben's mother, does not treat Allie in a kindly manner.  As Allie tries to deal with the bitterness of Saloma, she is never dealt a kind hand.  It takes great love and faith to work through the difficult times ahead.

I totally loved this book.  It was realistic and doesn't paint a beautiful picture of a completely loving family.  Love, trust in God and lots of forgiveness are a strong threads in this book. I received a complimentary copy of this book and all thoughts and opinions are my own.

It's a cozy mystery that will keep you guessing.  It is an enjoyable read and there is just enough mystery to make things very interesting.  I loved the outcome and it leaves you in a very sweet and Christmassy mood.  Things keep happening and you will wonder why and who is the culprit in the story.
