The House by the Cemetery By Lisa Childs (The Grave Diggers Book 1)

This was a very intriguing book full of mystery. At the beginning of the book is a "family tree" to help you to know who is who.  It really is a very diversified story with family issues and lots of mystery.  The title itself seems very appropriate for the book.  So that definitely tells you something!  So who is the murderer in the case of Gregory Gold!  You will not be able to put this down.  And it is the first book of a series.  I want to know more, so yes, I will want to keep reading the series!

I received an ARC copy of this book.  All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Last Mission by Lisa Childs

This is the last book in the 12 book series.  I enjoyed the fire scenes and the mystery portion.  I am not a fan of language and spicy romance scenes, but I will review this mentioning that those two factors exist, but will rate according to the suspense and mystery portions which were very interesting and keeps you on the edge of your seats.  I love a good mystery and it definitely fit that bill!

By Evening's Light (Amish Memories Book 3) by Leslie Gould

This book really hit home for me as Rosene tells her WWII story.  My family has stories of German life during this time as well.  It was very heart wrenching. This is Treva's story as she listens to her great aunt Rosene as she tries to find her direction in life. This dual time story was very captivating to me and I am sure it will be to other readers as well. Treva is quite an amazing person.  Amish and Mennonite characters brought a great story together. Be sure to read the dates at the beginning of the chapter to help you realize the time period the writing is about.  Because of my own personal background, I was deeply impressed with this book.  I received an ARC copy of this book.  So glad I was able to read it!  All thoughts and opinions are my own.

A Sister's Amish Courtship (Amish Courtship Series Book 6) By Jennifer Spredemann

This is the final book in this series and I am sorry to see the series end, but it did so with another great addition.  As Jane Eicher and Benuel Mast get to know one another, Jane and Ben find themselves quickly attracted to one another and apparently another person is there to cause problems in their life.  The book, as with many of the author's books, teaches lessons that may require forgiveness from God and the Amish community.  It is a fast moving story but very well paced.  No boring moments to skip past.  It is engaging to see family members from previous books.  I recommend this book. I received an ARC of this book.  All thoughts and opinions are mine.

Savannah's Amish Ties That Bind by Tracy Fredrychowski (The Amish Women of Lawrence County Series Book 6)

I loved book 6.  Savannah suddenly discovers her husband has taken off and she has no idea what has happened.  This leads her into a difficult position as she wonders how to continue with things as they now are.  She finds respite with her grandmother and finds out things about her heritage and that of her missing husband.  As she learns of the Amish, she finds confrontation from the community members because of the outside influence they feel she is bringing into the community.  Will she find her husband and the reason for his disappearance?

This book revolves around love, family, repentance and forgiveness.  They story held my attention throughout and it was really engaging.  Never a dull moment. I highly recommend this book to those who enjoy Amish reading, a bit of mystery and conflict.

I received an arc of this book.  All thoughts and opinions are my own.

A Cowgirl Finds Home (The Blackwell Belles Book 2) By Carol Ross

Book 2 of The Blackwell Belles Series was a great addition and a very fine read.  It will get your reading attention from the start and will keep you reading till the end. The Belles were once a trick riding group with interesting names as well. They fell apart after a bad accident caused them to stop their riding group. The book had a bit of humor and I have found that to be a feature I really enjoy in my reading material. Although this is book 2, it can easily be a standalone in my opinion.  This is not a love at first site type of book, but only time can tell, right??

I received an ARC of this book.  All thoughts and opinions are my own.

A Cowgirl Never Forgets by Melinda Curtis (The Blackwell Belles Book 1)

I was excited to see the new series called The Blackwell Belles  I have loved the Blackwell series that  I have read in the past.  I can tell I am going to really enjoy and look forward to the rest of the series, as well.  It was a great start to the series, a clean romance, with some fun times.  It was great to read an uplifting book that keeps you reading.  Clem and Maggie have been friends forever, but can it be more?  Can a rodeo accident make a change in this?  The story continues with the Done Roamin' Ranch as a part of Clem's past.  I can see this is going to a great series!

I received an ARC of this book.  All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Into The Starlight by Amanda Cabot (Secrets of Sweetwater Crossing Book 3)

Upon returning home to Sweetwater Crossing, many changes had happened to Joanna, including becoming a widow. The last book of the series does not disappoint and the changes there makes her feel  that it is no longer home.  Della and Burke Finley arrive in hopes of finding what really happened to Della's almost husband.  This book is the conclusion of this interesting series.  It has just the right amount of mystery to make the book very interesting to the reader.  It's a good book and a good fit for the previous two books. A very worthwhile read!

I received an ARC from the publisher.  All opinions are my own.
