Love's Dwelling by Kelly Irvin

Such a nice story.  Kids needing home and love and people needing one another.  Loved the storyline.  This was book 1 of a new series and I definitely want to read the rest of the series.  So good! And I love Amish fiction and romance.  Always a good clean read as was this book.

It's a book about families sticking together despite loss and heartache.Cassie was a strong and great character, but I really enjoyed Mason as well.  The family is in need of help in many ways.  It has a believable theme and being a fan of Amish fiction, I enjoyed it very much.

An Amish Barn Raising by Amy Clipston, Kelly Irvin and Kathleen Fuller

I enjoyed this compilation so much.  Nice, enjoyable and sweet romance.  What could be better?!

To Build a Dream by Amy Clipston

Very nice romance story of two Amish people finding that her father was opposed to them dating, forbidding contact between them.  This was a story of trusting in God and what he has in store for us.  I really liked the sweet feelings this book brought to me.  I really thought it was a well written and enjoyable story.

To Raise a Home by Kelly Irwin

This story was another sweet romance with some rough patches along the road.  Delilah returns to her home town after a year hoping that her situation with her special friend, Evan will continue as before.  But Evan has moved on.  It's a sweet heartwarming story and very enjoyable.

Love's Solid Foundation by Kathleen Fuller

Devon Bontrager's twin brothers have a unhappy past with Nettie Yoder and yet as Devon returns to his hometown, there is something there between them.  It is fun to see characters from previous stories come into play.  I love that!  And this was a story of  trust in God and others.

All three of the stories have a barn raising theme and there are all so fun to read.

An Amish Christmas Wedding by Amy Clipston, Kelly Irwin, Kathleen Fuller, Vannetta Chapman

Four wonderful Amish wedding stories by four talented authors.  Each was a heartwarming Christmas themed story.  They were delightful reads and each told interesting, attention holding tales.  They were  very enjoyable and light reads that brought out delightful characters and Christian reading themes.

You will definitely enjoy these stories of love, forgiveness and Christmas weddings!

An Amish Picnic by Amy Clipston, Kelly Irvin, Kathleen Fuller, Vannetta Chapman

It was really enjoyable to read the four novellas written by four great Amish romance writers!
Each story was entertaining, sweet, and fun to read.  I liked the picnic them that the stories shared and the fun story topics as each was different and revolved around different characters.

I really enjoyed this summer read, especially since it's still pretty cold and I look forward to enjoying a fun picnic!  I think you will enjoy this steady paced and well written set of stories.

A Long Bridge Home by Kelly Irvin (Amish of Big Sky Country Book 2)

This is an excellent author of Amish fiction.  I enjoyed this timely book of the ravages of fire in Montana.  I say this due to the many wildfires in the US and abroad recently.

The book deals with the evacuation of an Amish village in Montana and the decisions that needed to be made as a result. Christine has decided not to move back to Kansas with her family and finds herself with a native group of people, the Kootenai.

It was a very interesting book.  I was glad to read it and be able to learn some new things about this cultural group.  Great book.

Mountains of Grace by Kelly Irvin

I really enjoyed this book which started up quickly in a fire situation.  Fires, although they can "clean" the environment, also cause much devastation and heartache.  The way the author writes about the cleaning or purification of hearts and souls is heartwarming.  The story was one of faith and trials.

In the area where I live, fires are an always big worry.  So I felt the feelings of the characters.

An Amish Reunion by Amy Clipston, Beth Wiseman, Kathleen Fuller and Kelly Irvin

An Amish Reunion by Amy Clipson, Beth Wiseman, Kathleen Fuller, Kelly Irvin is a wonderful compilation of 4 sweet stories of different Amish reunions.  The stories were heartwarming, fun to read and very enjoyable.  I loved Kelly Irvin's book which centered around the location of Jamesport, the first Amish town that I personally visited and so it made it a great read for me as I could picture the town and the people as I saw them there.

Each story was individual and unique and different to read.  Some of the topics were very serious and thought provoking.  I think it was a realistic way to present some difficult and hard issues of the Amish.  Sometimes we don't read about the difficulties that also come to them as well.

A very good book. I am very glad that I was able to read it!

Winter's First Frost by Kelly Irvin

Good book dealing with life's changes and people coping with them.  I loved that the book was placed in an Amish community I have personally visited and enjoyed.  I have not read other books of this series, and was probably a bit confused with the characters in the beginning.  As soon as I understood each of them, I was taken in by the story.

An Amish Heirloom by Amy Clipston, Beth Wiseman, Kathleen Fuller and Kelly Irvin

I really enjoyed this set of four novellas by these well known Amish authors.  This combination was a hit for me and I especially enjoyed the one written by Beth Wiseman, which covered two periods of time, then and now and the cedar chest that held some secrets of the past.  Loved it!

I enjoyed the other stories as well and highly recommend this if you enjoy Amish fiction.

Beneath the Summer Sun by Kelly Irvin

This is book 2 of the series "An Every Amish Season".  I have to admit that I did not yet read book 1.  But I will be going back to read it.  I really enjoyed this book.  I don't feel as though as missed something by not having read the first book in the series because it serves well on it's own as a stand alone. 

I am so happy I was able to read this engaging book.  You will probably "stay up late" reading this one.  It was hard for me to put down.

I always appreciate a book with Christian values and this one includes this.  It's a touching and moving book.

An Amish Christmas Love by Beth Wiseman, Amy Clipston, Ruth Reid, Kelly Irvin

This was a wonderful set of four Amish Christmas novellas by four of my fave authors.

They were not connected to one another, but each independent stories of love, trust and an abiding trust in God.  I loved reading each and every one of them.  I did have a fave, however, and that was the final story in the book by author Ruth Reid.It was entitled "Home for Christmas".  I loved the warm, wonderful feelings that it left me with.

If you want a truly inspirational set of stories to read this holiday season, this is the set!

An Amish Summer by multiple authors

This was a series of four  Amish novellas written by authors that I have enjoyed over the years.  They were Shelley Shepard Gray, Amy Clipston, Kathleen Fuller, and Kelly Irvin.  The stories were all different from each other and did not have the same characters and blend into one another, but were all rather unique and different.  I did like that first two very, very much.  They were my favorite ones.

The cover was really beautiful in my opinion. It was a good series of novellas and I was happy that I was able to read them.
