This was a romantic and intriguing story that takes place on Mackinac Island, a place that I know the author is very familiar with. It's a split-time book that gives you both a historic and a contemporary mosaic of many twists and turns as the story continues. It is truly a charming story and I found it very enjoyable to read. The Grand Hotel sounds like a wonderful place both then and now and a perfect setting for this book.
I received an ebook copy from the Barbour Publishing and NetGalley. All thoughts are my own.
